Lawn Walker

I’ve put together a store on zazzle.com at www.zazzle.com/lawnwalker, and was also excepted into (very excited about this) their side division, “Artsprojekt”. So now I am listed among a whole slue of wonderful artists. Please do check it out. Not just my store, but all the other artists under the Artsprojekt section. I often just browse through their work and am blown away by all of their crazy awesome creations.

As part of the reunion of previous Delaware Division of the Arts fellowship winners, Walker will be showing one of her paintings, “The Sun Rises” at the Biggs Museum in Dover, Delaware for the next four months.

Lawn Walker now has some of her paintings available at Mimesis in a variety of sizes from 8×10′s up to 28×35′s. These are unlimited reproductions printed from high resolution scans of the originals that are made available at affordable prices.

Walker explores the surreal in her latest artwork. Being a big fan of Pop Surrealism and the Lowbrow scene, the influence is showing up in her work. Tightening up her strokes and increasing the content of each piece, while still working with her common themes of childhood wonders and nature, creates wondrous worlds filled with imagery that harks back to a more pre-renaissance style.
